LIPOSUCTION, LIPOASPIRATION OF THE PUBIS
OR THE RISE OF THE FEMALE BODY
OR THE RISE OF THE FEMALE BODY
Liposuction or liposuction of the pubis is a surgical procedure which allows the definitive removal of localized fat deposits from the pubis which neither dieting nor sport can eliminate. Either of hereditary, congenital or acquired origin following weight variations, the fatty mass of the pubis is often experienced as unattractive in this intimate area, in both men and women.
Before a pubic
During the consultation, the doctor Diacakis plastic surgeon in Paris will give you a consent, an estimate, a prescription of the necessary postoperative medicines.
Doctor Diacakis will also prescribe you an abdominal girdle that you will have to wear for 1 month. Classically you will wear it day and night for 10 days and then during the day. When the liposuction is located at the pubis a sheathing compression panty is sufficient.
Any medication containing aspirin will be banned 15 days before the operation.
It is imperative to fast (no eating, drinking or smoking) 6 hours before the operation if the operation is under general anaesthesia.
Admission is on the morning of the operation.
The doctor will see you in the morning in your room before the operation to take preoperative photos and draw the areas to be removed.
You will be discharged the same day.
No social security cover is possible for this aesthetic operation, so no sick leave can be prescribed. It is possible to return to work 2 to 3 days after the operation. It is therefore important to allow for this period of unavailability.
The procedure for a
pubic liposuction operation
Pubic liposuction is performed on an outpatient basis (same day discharge).
The micro-incisions are camouflaged in the fold of the groin.
Pubic liposuction lasts about 30 to 45 minutes and is performed with a fine, foamy cannula, adapted to this region.
This operation can be carried out under local anaesthesia but in practice it is often performed under general anaesthesia of short duration, due to its delicate location and the fact that it is a rather sensitive area.
After pubic liposuction surgery
Doctor Diacakis, an aesthetic surgeon in Paris, performs this operation as an outpatient surgery, in most cases the post-operative after-effects are simple. The support panties are worn for about 4 weeks.
When you leave the hospital, it is essential to return home by taxi or accompanied by someone else. It is forbidden to return home by public transport.
It should be noted that liposuction of the pubis usually results in significant oedema of the vulva region or the bursa, which is not very painful but the oedema can be impressive for a fortnight.
The aspirated area of the pubis is usually not very painful but sometimes takes a long time to soften, which can be a source of discomfort and tightness.
Showers are allowed the next day or the day after, but baths are not recommended for 2 to 3 weeks.
Pain, although moderate, can be relieved by simple analgesics.
The threads are absorbable.
You will be able to resume sports activities 4 to 6 weeks after the operation.
Result of pubic liposuction
In the vast majority of cases, patients judge the result to be satisfactory or very satisfactory.
The oedema may persist for 1 to 3 months.
Most often, you will be able to put on a swimming costume around the 6th week with a real result.
The final result of the pubis will be obtained at 6 months.
