PRP
OU VAMPIRE LIFT

PRP : Presentation

What is PRP?
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is plasma extracted from blood and from which platelets have been separated from red and white blood cells using a centrifuge. These platelets stimulate growth and promote the production of collagen and elastin.

What areas of the body can we use PRP on?
PRP injections are primarily used to treat the face (nasolabial fold, under-eye circles, mouth, cheeks, etc), the neck, the chest, and the back of the hands. PRP can also be used to treat hair loss. PRP injections are increasingly being used to treat male intimacy :
– in cases of erectile dysfunction
– to increase the circumference and length of the penis
– to treat Lapeyronia (alongside injections of hyaluronic acid)

PRP injections may also be used to heal burns and stretch marks.

PRP Injections and the “Vampire Lift”

Before the operation, patients will see Dr. Richard Diacakis, aesthetic surgeon in Paris, for a “facial diagnosis” consultation. Dr. Diacakis will examine your face and discuss your treatment with you.

Goals of the Vampire Lift
We can use PRP facial injections of the patient’s own blood to stimulate anti-aging effects. PRP injections promote healing, rejuvenate tissue, and stimulate the skin’s natural regeneration mechanisms. PRP is a 100% biocompatible product that helps to combat skin aging and comes with almost no risk of rejection or allergy.

Benefits of the Vampire Lift

The product is injected into the dermis, where it smoothes fine lines, reduces wrinkles, and improves skin quality by reducing pimples and impurities and giving skin an overall glow.
PRP injections are often used as a preventative measure, to boost skin radiance and delay the effects of aging. They continue to be beneficial in patients over the age of 45, who use the treatment to revive their complexion and give their skin a glow.

PRP Injection Procedure

A nurse draws the patient’s blood and separates platelets from red and white blood cells using a centrifuge.
Dr. Diacakis then re-injects the PRP into the dermis using a fine needle.
We typically apply an anesthetic cream thirty minutes prior to the operation. This procedure is generally not painful.

After a PRP Injection Procedure

Facial PRP Injections / Vampire Lift
Dr. Diacakis generally recommends two sessions six weeks apart, followed by an annual injection session.
Side effects to this procedure are minimal. It is possible to resume normal activities immediately after the session. In some cases, patients may experience small areas of redness and/or bruising. These disappear within two to three days at most.

PRP Injections to Prevent Hair Loss
We use PRP injections to stimulate hair regrowth. This procedure does not replace grafting, but does allow hair to remain in growth phase for a longer period of time. PRP injections are also used to treat baldness pre and post hair surgeries.

PRP Injections for Male Intimacy
-PRP Injections to Treat Erectile Dysfunction
PRP’s sponge-like and filler-like qualities allow it to improve the quality of erections, especially in men 40 years old and older. The injections stimulate the regeneration of blood vessels and of erectile tissue in the penis.
-PRP Injections to Increase Penis Circumference and Length
Patients have reported an average increase in penile circumference and length of 10-20% after intracavernosal PRP injections.
– PRP Injections to Treat Lapeyronia Disease (in conjunction with hyaluronic acid)
An injection of PRP into the penile cavernous plaque accelerates healing responsible for the curvature of an erect penis. The product, combined with hyaluronic acid, has a powerful ability to regenerate tissue. Patients report high levels of satisfaction, and 75% of patients report a decrease of approximately 15% of the curvature of the penis.
We frequently combine the procedure with the use of a penis pump or extender, in order to improve results. Three to four sessions are typically spaced one month apart.

PRP Injections to Stimulate Healing
PRP has been used for decades in hospital departments, particularly to treat burn patients, as it accelerates healing. It may also be used to treat vertebrae in older patients, as it stimulates collagen production.

PRP Injection Procedure Costs

A consultation for PRP injection with Dr. Richard DIACAKIS is priced at 100 euros.
The cost of a PRP session depends on a variety of factors, including the area to be treated. The price of the session will therefore be decided in consultation after clinical examination.
